Xiaomi doesn’t offer a lot of products in the United States. Its smartphones have yet to make an appearance Stateside but some of its other devices are available. The list includes its 150 inch laser projector that costs $1999.99. It’s available for purchase in the U.S. exclusively from Walmart.
The price tag is a bit steep for this 1920x1080p projector and Xiaomi doesn’t seem to have any plans to offer the 4K version here. It does have a few things going for it, though, including the fact that its ultra-short throw enables it to display a proper image just 20 inches from the wall.
A detector at the top of the projector will automatically shut off the laser’s right if the user gets too close to it in order to prevent damage to their eyes. It can double as a TV as well since the projector comes with Android TV and even a remote which can be used to summon the Google Assistant. The Mi Laser Projector also features four speakers with Dolby Audio support, two USB ports, three HDMI 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support.
The Mi Laser Projector is now available for purchase exclusively from Walmart. It costs $2,000 which is certainly a lot of money.
