More information has now been confirmed about BioWare’s Anthem, particularly its upcoming beta. Those who have been looking forward to taking part in the beta will be delighted to know that they don’t have to pre-order the game. BioWare and EA have confirmed that the Anthem beta will be open to everyone starting February 1st. The game itself will be released later that month.

Electronic Arts and BioWare have announced that the Anthem beta will be open for everyone from February 1st through February 3rd, 2019. This open demo will be accessible to players on PC, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One.

There’s an incentive for those who have already pre-ordered this title or happen to be an Origin Access subscriber. They will get access to a “VIP” demo from January 25th through January 27th, 2019. They will get an in-game item as well to mark their status as an early adopter. So those fans don’t have to feel like they got the short end of the stick even though they have already pre-ordered the title.

It was already confirmed earlier this year that Anthem is going to be released on February 22nd, 2019. It will go live on February 15th for Origin Access Premier subscribers. It won’t support cross-play at launch.
