Apple has gradually been adding to its slate of original TV content and its acquisition drive doesn’t seem to show any signs of slowing down. The company has now picked up a new limited series produced by JJ Abrams. Starring Jennifer Garner, this limited series is titled My Glory Was I Had Such Friends. The series is based on the similarly titled Amy Silverstein memoir. The memoir recounted the stories of Silverstein’s friends who supported her while she waited for a second heart transplant.

Variety reports that Apple has given a straight-to-series order for this limited series which stars Jennifer Garner. Based on the 2017 memoir, the story will follow a group of women who support Silverstein while she awaits her second life-saving heart transplant.

This isn’t the first time that Garner and Abrams have worked together. The pair previously worked on the ABC series Alias. Abrams created that drama series in which Garner starred. This is the second project that Apple has acquired from JJ Abrams with Little Voice being the first one. It’s a dramedy that Abrams has also produced.

Abrams will executive produce this limited series as well while Karen Croner will be the writer as well as an executive producer herself.
