A new trailer from the Marvel Cinematic Universe was due to arrive late last month and fans expected that we would perhaps get the Avengers 4 trailer. It would offer a glimpse of what happened after that famous Thanos snap at the end of Infinity War. That doesn’t appear to be the case, though, as not only the Captain Marvel poster been released today but a new trailer for this movie is also going to premiere in a few hours.
The confirmation comes from the official Marvel Studios Twitter account where this poster was also released. It confirmed that the new trailer for Captain Marvel is going to be premiered during ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
Captain Marvel’s role at taking the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s story forward was subtly hinted at the very end of Avengers: Infinity War. Naturally, there has been a lot of anticipation for this movie among fans.
Even with the Captain Marvel poster being released and a new trailer coming in a few hours, many are still expecting that an Avengers 4 trailer might be released at some point this week. Avengers 4 is the sequel to Infinity War and given Captain Marvel’s link to the end of that movie, there’s a possibility that the trailers might be released within a span of a couple of days.
