Smart speakers have become a norm these days as we’re starting to see more audio companies start to integrate digital assistants into them, namely from Amazon and Google in which both Alexa and Google Assistant have found their way into a variety of speakers in the market today.

If you’re in the market for such a speaker, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Marshall’s Acton II and Stanmore II speakers now come with Google Assistant built into them. Marshall had announced several months ago that they would be releasing models of its Acton and Stanmore speakers with Google Assistant integration, and it looks like they are finally here.

For the most part these speakers will continue to function the way that some might be familiar with, with the Acton II being the smaller of the duo with three dedicated class D amplifiers, dual tweeters, and a subwoofer. The Stanmore II on the other hand will be the larger model with similar class D amplifiers as well, but with a 50W subwoofer amp.

The integration with Google Assistant means that in addition to music playback, you’ll be able to use Google Assistant’s smart features, such as checking the weather, controlling your smart home, asking for the news, and so on. The Acton II is priced at $299 while the Stanmore II will go or $399.
