One of the new features of Apple’s iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and the XR is dual SIM, where models in the US rely on a single physical SIM and an eSIM for the second one. While this saves space internally and makes it easier to switch carriers, the only downside is that carriers will need to support the feature.

AT&T has since enabled the feature and Verizon was also expect to enable theirs too this month. The good news is that if you’re an iPhone Xs, Xs Max, or XR user who wants to take advantage of the dual SIM feature, you’ll be pleased to learn that Verizon has since confirmed that iPhone users will be able to enable it.

This is according to a tweet by the carrier’s customer service in which they point users towards Verizon’s support page that gives users more information about what a dual SIM is, what are its benefits, supported devices, and how to enable it. Of course this means that users will need to get a second line if they wish to use both SIMs at once, but you can go about signing up for that normally.

Verizon’s enabling of the feature also means that as far as the major US carriers are concerned, it pretty much leaves T-Mobile and Sprint as the only two that have yet to enable support for the feature, although we imagine that this probably won’t be too far off in the future.
