Xiaomi’s Black Shark Gamepad caters to those who are serious about gaming on the go. The company today unveiled a new iteration of its gamepad which brings some improvements over the original. The new Black Shark Gamepad 2.0 is now available for purchase and it can be picked up for a 20 percent discount if purchased in a bundle with Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming phone.
Since Xiaomi isn’t selling its smartphones in the United States as yet, customers in this part of the world won’t be able to take advantage of this bundle. It’s available to customers in Europe and elsewhere, though. The new Black Shark Gamepad 2.0 itself costs £70 or $90 but it can be purchased for 20 percent off if bought with the Black Shark gaming phone.
The new gamepad has two separate parts that attach to either side of the smartphone much like the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Con controllers. They slide onto a protective case that ships with the controllers. The analog joystick is present on the left controller with four directional controls. The right controller has four buttons and a trackpad. There’s also a shoulder button on each controller.
Xiaomi is offering this bundle throughout the holiday season. It will be available until January 4th, 2019 through the company’s official website.
