The AirPods come with a charging case that is meant to provide the user with additional battery if they need it. It also helps keep the earphones in place securely so that users don’t lose them. However an Indiegogo campaign for an accessory called the Air.Wear might be of interest to those who’d rather not bring a case around with them.

The AirPods can be described as a truly wireless set of earphones. Typically wireless earphones like the BeatsX come with a cable that connects the ear pieces together, but devices like the AirPods have done away with that. However the Air.Wear is bringing the cable back where it will put into each of the AirPods’ base.

The cable itself features a battery that according to its creators, promises four full charges which means that you should be able to use the AirPods all day without any problems. Heck, it might even last longer than some traditional wireless headphones. There will be inline controls to adjust volume, and the battery itself will recharge via micro USB.

It’s a very interesting concept and idea and if you don’t mind taking a bit of risk and lending your support to the Air.Wear, then head on over to its Indiegogo page for the details, or you can check out the video above to see more of it in action.
