Cheddar has brought its online-only news channels to a variety of streaming services such as YouTube TV. However, the channels were not available on PlayStation Vue, Sony’s standalone streaming service. It’s rectifying that now and the channels are available for streaming through this service as well.

Despite what the name might suggest, PlayStation Vue is available on platforms other than the PlayStation 4. Apps are available for platforms like the Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, and more.

Cheddar sent out a press release today confirming that it’s launching the Cheddar Business and Cheddar News networks on PlayStation Vue. Cheddar Business is primarily broadcast from the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange and it covers business news with major industry personalities. Cheddar News is broadcast from studios in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. Its focus is more on general and headline news.

“We are excited to partner with the PlayStation Vue team to put Cheddar into the hands of so many new OTT subscribers who are watching live content,” said Cheddar founder and CEO Jon Steinberg.

The Cheddar Business channel is available in the Access package that’s open to all PlayStation Vue subscribers, whereas Cheddar News is available to all subscribers that are on the Elite and Ultra tiers of the streaming service.
