There have been quite a few leaks recently about the successor to the Motorola P30. This handset was only launched in China and it’s unclear whether the successor to this mid-range smartphone will be released elsewhere. Earlier leaks have revealed that this will be the first smartphone from Motorola to jump on the punch hole bandwagon for the front camera. A new report seemingly reveals the full specifications of this handset.

It’s claimed that the Motorola P40 is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. There’s also going to be a 6.2 inch HD+ IPS display and a 4,132mAh battery. The device is said to feature a dual 48 megapixel rear camera with an additional 5 megapixel depth sensor as well as a 12 megapixel front camera.

It’s obviously not known for sure if these are the official specs for this handset. If they are, this will be quite an impressive mid-range smartphone. Many manufacturers have been packing their mid-range smartphones with technology since that segment of the market has become very competitive. It would make sense for Motorola to do the same, particularly in a market as competitive as China.

Motorola is yet to confirm anything about the Moto P40.
