The leaks concerning the Nokia 9 PureView are picking up steam amid reports that the handset is going to be launched in January. It was previously said that HMD Global had delayed this handset’s release to MWC 2019. Earlier reports have revealed that this handset is going to have a five-camera system at the back, however, the details about this camera system are slim right now.

A promotional video meant for this device has now leaked online. The design itself of the Nokia 9 PureView seems to be not too different compared to the Nokia 8 Sirocco. The one major difference would be at the back which would have five cameras.

It may also feature a 5.99 inch HDR10 compatible display, Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. This will be the first PureView-branded device to come out of HMD Global, the company that’s making Nokia smartphones now. It acquired the PureView brand from Microsoft in 2018 and also teamed up with Zeiss to bring it back for Android smartphones.

HMD Global has been quiet about this device so far. It hasn’t provided any information about it so far which is why it can’t be said for sure when the Nokia 9 PureView is finally going to be unveiled.
