Nintendo’s amiibo figurines have actually proven themselves to be quite the commodity item as they usually get sold out as soon as they go on sale. For those unfamiliar, amiibos act as collectible figurines but at the same time also allow gamers to unlock additional features within a game by tapping the amiibo with their Nintendo console.

For those who love collecting them, you might be interested to learn that a recent series of leaked images on Reddit and Discord has revealed that there could be a bunch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibos on their way. This is according to a Japanese guide which reveals possible amiibos for Snake, Pokemon Trainer, Piranha Plant, Ivysaur, Chrom, Squirtle, Ridley, Dark Samus and Simon and Richter Belmont.

It is unclear as to how legitimate these images are as destructoid has pointed out that there have been several fake leaks in the past, so there is a chance that this could be as well. However given that last year Nintendo released a limited edition version of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that came with a bunch of amiibos, perhaps these new amiibos are meant to help complete the roster, or at least the current roster, but until Nintendo officially announces something, it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt.
