Huawei has recently confirmed that come 26th of March, they will be officially unveiling their next smartphone, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. These handsets are the successors to last year’s P20 and P20 Pro, and given how well-received they were, many are expecting great things from the P30 series as well.

Now thanks to the folks at Digital Trends, it seems that they have managed to get their hands on what appears to be the Huawei P30, or at least the dummy unit of it. The publication claims that they were invited to a demo room at Huawei where they were shown the device. According to the rep who was present, this dummy unit will apparently be pretty much the way the actual phone will look like when it launches.

Unfortunately they were not allowed to take photos of the front of the handset due to the fact that the design was apparently not complete, but for the most part, the back is and from what we can tell, it appears to be featuring a triple camera setup. One of the rumors we’ve heard about the handset (which has since been hinted at in the invite) is that it could sport 5x lossless zoom.

There is no indication based on this unit that it could have that feature, so we’ll have to wait and see. Similar to its predecessor, the P30 handsets also seem to be sporting a reflective finish on its back, so if you like that particular design, then the P30 will be continuing that trend.
