The latest Huawei smartwatch has been available in other markets for quite some time and now it’s finally coming to the United States. It’s now available for pre-order from Amazon. Interested customers can get their pre-orders in for both the Huawei Watch GT and the Watch GT Classic. They will start shipping in the next few days.

Amazon is now accepting pre-orders for the $199 Watch GT and the $229 Watch GT Classic. Shipments of both wearable devices will begin on February 19th. Both of these smartwatches have the same hardware. There’s a 1.39 inch 454×454 AMOLED circular display with 16MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage. There’s also a decent 420mAh battery. The company claims that it’s good for two weeks of battery life.

That RAM might seem like it’s a bit too low for a Wear OS (Android Wear) smartwatch but it would have been a problem had the Huawei Watch GT been a Wear OS device. It’s actually powered by Lite OS, a proprietary platform for wearable devices by Huawei.

Additional features include GPS and sleep tracking. There’s no NFC, though, so payments can’t be made on the go. The Huawei Watch GT also doesn’t have support for third-party apps so you’re limited when it comes to functionality.
