Apple has really been pushing the iPhone XR. The iPhone XR represents Apple’s cheaper iPhone which would appeal to customers who might not otherwise want to spend $1,000 on the iPhone XS. The company has been launching all kinds of deals and discounts for the handset, and now they have also released a new commercial highlighting its capabilities.

This particular commercial is a hilarious one as it talks about the iPhone XR’s camera features, which despite it having a single-lens camera is capable of achieving a bokeh-like effect similar to that of the iPhone XS. It also highlights how the handset is capable of adjusting the bokeh after the photo is taken, a feature that Apple introduced with iOS 12.

It remains to be seen if Apple’s marketing onslaught will be enough to offset the weak demand for its newer handsets. However to be fair, Apple’s iPhone XR seems to be a better seller compared to the iPhone XS and XS Max. Granted it might not sport an OLED display and still uses a single camera instead of two, but for those who want to own the iPhone without breaking the bank, it does the job just fine.

Apple is rumored to continue offering an LCD iPhone in its lineup at least until 2020 when they are expected to make the full shift to OLED. Whether or not there will still be a budget model then remains to be seen.
