Apple’s iPhones have never really been known for their battery life, but it seems that has changed somewhat with the iPhone XR with Apple claiming that the iPhone XR has the longest battery life of any iPhone ever. So much so that they have put out an ad for it that boasts the battery life of the handset.

According to Apple’s description, “iPhone XR has the longest battery life in an iPhone ever. So whether you’re streaming video, watching live sports or playing a game, you’ll lose power before your iPhone XR will.” Apple has been putting quite a lot of emphasis on the iPhone XR despite it not being their flagship handset.

However, it’s not hard to see why. Recent reports have revealed that the iPhone XR is actually dominating in sales. This is due to the fact that the phone is priced a lot cheaper than the iPhone XS and XS Max, where for the most part it offers the same performance with some compromises.

This includes its screen which still uses LCD instead of OLED, and also its camera where it features a single lens instead of a dual camera like the iPhone XS and XS Max. However, we have heard rumors that this could change with the next-gen iPhone XR where it could be adopting a dual lens design.
