There has been a lot of anticipation for the new Terminator movie and fans are going to like the fact that the first trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate has been released today. It brings back a familiar face, Linda Hamilton’s, who is returning to reprise her iconic role as Sarah Connor.
Terminator: Dark Fate will see Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 robot reuniting with Sarah Connor. There will be some new characters in this movie as well which include Mackenzie Davis of Halt and Catch Fire fame as a human-terminator hybrid. The bad, homicidal robot in this iteration of the Terminator franchise is played by Gabriel Luna.
Fans will already be well aware by now that this movie also marks director James Cameron’s return to the Terminator franchise. This is the first time in many years that both the main actors and the original director have come together again. Terminator: Dark Fate is a direct sequel to The Terminator and T2: Judgement Day. Those who haven’t seen Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator: Salvation or Terminator: Genisys need not worry.
There will be more to come after this movie as it’s set to begin a new Terminator franchise. Terminator: Dark Fate is due to hit the big screen later this year, on November 1st, to be precise.
