Back in the day of the feature phone, Motorola was one of the bigger name players around where the company’s RAZR smartphone was one of the hottest-selling smartphones at that time. As some of you might have heard, the company is expected to bring it back with a modern twist.

It is expected to continue to maintain its flip design albeit with a slight twist, where the entire phone will be made from a singular display which can be folded. Given that companies like Samsung and Huawei are already making foldable phones, this does sound plausible, and now we are hearing that the handset could be released in Q4 2019 later this year.

This is according to the folks at LetsGoDigital who reports that the Motorola RAZR foldable smartphone will be launching later this year, although oddly enough, the handset will allegedly be packing some mid-range specs. The publication does not mention what kind of specs the phone will be featuring save for a mid-range processor.

Given that previous rumors have suggested that the phone could be priced at $1,500, it does seem strange that Motorola could be opting for mid-range specs instead of high-end ones. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but we should have more details soon.
