For the past few years, OnePlus has typically released two smartphones on an annual basis. One in the earlier part of the year, and the other in the second half of the year. The OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro have already been released, but in case either model wasn’t to your liking, you might be interested to learn that OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus 7T soon.

In fact, thanks to renders shared by @OnLeaks and Pricebaba, we have an idea of what the upcoming smartphone could look like. In terms of its design, it looks like there will be some changes made on the front and the back. With the OnePlus 7, the company opted to ditch the notch in favor of a front-facing popup camera. However, with the OnePlus 7T, the company seems to be embracing the notch once again.

We had expressed in the past our concern for popup camera designs due to the potential for breakage, and maybe OnePlus feels the same as well. Also, on the back of the phone, OnePlus will continue using a triple camera setup but instead of a vertical orientation, they will be going for a horizontal orientation.

We’re not sure if the cameras will be different from the OnePlus 7 Pro so we’ll just have to wait and see. Take these renders with a grain of salt for now, but what do you think about OnePlus embracing the notch again? Or did you prefer the more seamless design with the popup camera?
