Some of you might recall that back in 2018, Acer took the wraps off what is probably the most outrageous gaming setup we’ve ever seen in the form of the Acer Predator Thronos. This is a gaming chair that allows for a triple monitor setup that essentially surrounds the player’s field of vision, immersing them in their game.

If you thought that was borderline ridiculous, it seems that Acer is doubling down on it by announcing a newer model in the form of the Acer Predator Thronos Air. There have been some changes made to the overall look, where the air curving over the gamer is slightly thinner, and there are now panels on either side of the chair.

Acer has decided that with the monitor arms, they will go for a manually-adjusted model instead of a motorized one, which probably helped to cut down the costs. Acer has also built in a massage feature into the chair, so if you’re going to sit in it for extended periods of time, now you’ll be able to relax even further.

There is also a space for an adjustable keyboard and mouse tray, a foot rest, and also a cable management system to help keep things tidy. The Acer Predator Thronos Air is not cheap at $14,000, but it is cheaper than its predecessor that was priced at $20,000, although the monitors and computers are not included.
