When we think of KFC, chances are the fast food chain’s mascot Colonel Sanders pops to mind. The character of Colonel Sanders has always been portrayed as a kindly old Southern gentleman, but have you ever wondered what Colonel Sanders could look like if he was younger and was an anime character?
Chances are that none of us have ever thought about that, but it appears that KFC is looking to put a twist on its mascot through an official Colonel Sanders dating sim. The game, dubbed “I Love You Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator” was spotted on Steam and has since been confirmed by the company to be real.
The game is developed by developer Psyop where according to the description of the game, “I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator follows you, a promising culinary student, as you try to date your classmate, Colonel Sanders. Throughout your journey, you’ll be faced with life-changing decisions that will affect your chances of friendship and love. But be careful! Your choices have real consequences with real animated characters’ feelings at stake.”
We’re not sure if there’s a real point to launching this game, but if you don’t mind taking the game for a spin, it will actually be available for free through Steam come 24th of September.
