Earlier this year during CES 2019, Razer officially threw their hat into the display ring when they announced the Razer Raptor monitor. In case you missed the announcement, basically this is Razer’s take on gaming monitors. Given that the company already makes all kinds of accessories and peripherals, this doesn’t really come as a surprise.

That being said, the company failed to mention when the monitor would be available for purchase, but you’ll be pleased to learn that you can now go ahead and place an order if you’re interested. The Raptor is priced at $700, which all things considered is actually not too bad of an asking price.

Its specs include a 27-inch display, a 2560×1440 resolution, and also a 144Hz refresh rate, which is considerably higher than the majority of displays out there, clearly catering to the gaming crowd. There is also support for AMD’s FreeSync technology, and given that this is a Razer product, it doesn’t come as a surprise to learn that Chroma lighting will be built into it.

Input ports also include HDMI, DP 1.4, USB 3.0, and USB-C which will allow you to connect your laptop to it and keep it charged at the same time. If this sounds like the gaming monitor of your dreams, then head on over to Razer’s website where you’ll be able to place an order.
