Ever since Apple’s Mac Pro was announced, many have made fun of the computer’s design, where due to the use of numerous holes, some have made comparisons to a cheese grater. Taking the joke and running with it are the good folks over at iFixit, where during their uncasing of the computer, they decided to see if the computer would make for a good cheese grater.

As it turns out, nope, it seems that the Mac Pro makes for a terrible cheese grater as you can see for yourself in the video above (it starts around the 13 minute 30 second mark). Jokes aside, initial reviews of the new Mac Pro seem to be largely positive, where the performance of the computer has been praised.

While the asking price of the computer does not come cheap, it should be noted that the Mac Pro is clearly not aimed at the average consumer who uses their computer to surf the web, play games, watch videos, and so on. This is a computer aimed at working professionals who might need the power to render graphics, videos, edit photos, record music, and so on.

In any case, if you have about 20 minutes or so to spare, then check out iFixit’s uncasing of the new Mac Pro in the video above.
