Back in 2019 when the first 5G smartphones were rolling out, they were pretty much exclusive to flagship devices, which meant that they weren’t exactly what many would consider to be affordable. Thankfully, 2020 seems to have improved on that aspect, and if you’re after a 5G capable handset that won’t break the bank, Motorola might have something for you.

The company has officially announced their latest smartphone in the form of the Motorola One 5G. This is a device that will cost you under $500 and as the name implies, will also support 5G connectivity. This means that if you want to get in on the 5G action and don’t want to burn a hole in your wallet, this might be the phone for you.

As for its specs, it might not necessarily be the most powerful nor the most feature-packed handset. It will come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display that features a 90Hz refresh rate, the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset, and will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

We’re also looking at a 5,000mAh battery, a quad camera setup on the back, and interestingly enough, a dual front-facing camera setup. The handset is currently slated to arrive on both AT&T and Verizon, but there is currently no specific date for its launch right now.
