If the rumors are to be believed, Apple could launch their new iPhones in the second half of October, but when exactly is anyone’s guess. However, according to a recent tweet by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who has a pretty good track of these sorts of things, he expects that we should have more details later this week.

Gurman’s tweet claims that Apple could be announcing a date for a virtual event later this week, although interestingly enough he believes that this event could still take place in September. It is possible that the iPhone 12 could be released in October, but the event could still happen this month.

We’ve seen this happen before where Apple announces a new product only for it to come much later, like they did with the iPhone X that was launched a couple of months after its official announcement, and also the Mac Pro that took quite a while to be released following its announcement as well.

Given that the alleged delays are said to be on the manufacturing side, we suppose it is possible for Apple to announce the new phones and then launch them later. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see so check back with us in the coming days for more updates.
