According to the rumors, Apple isn’t done with notch on the iPhone just yet, and they might not be for the foreseeable future. However, one potential change we’re seeing is that according to the rumors, Apple could shrink the notch a bit. Previously leaked photos have shown a smaller notch, but how much smaller are we talking about?

Thanks to photos obtained and published by Macotakara, we might have an idea. The photos show a mockup of the iPhone 13, kind of like a 3D printed model. As you can see in the photo above, it is smaller compared to the iPhone 12. However, it isn’t exactly smaller by a considerably margin.

While it is noticeably smaller, we wouldn’t exactly say the differences like night and day. For day-to-day use, we imagine that most people probably wouldn’t even notice, unless you’re constantly comparing it to its predecessors. To Apple’s credit, there aren’t that many smartphones that have managed to solve the front camera under the screen yet.

We have seen some phones that have attempted this, but nothing from the major brands just yet. We’re not sure how long it will take for Apple to figure this out, but in the meantime, you probably should get used to seeing the notch for future iPhone models.
