There have been rumors suggesting that Apple will be hosting an event later this month. The company has yet to officially announce or confirm anything yet, but it seems that someone from inside Apple might have accidentally leaked the date and according to the leak, the event is expected to take place on the 20th of April.

So, who leaked the date for the event? Turns out it was none other than Siri. According to a report from MacRumors, when you ask Siri when is the next Apple event, the digital assistant claims that it will be held on the 20th of April at Apple’s headquarters. The information has since been removed from Siri (we tried it ourselves).

That being said, we’re not sure if this date is accurate. It is possible that it could still be wrong, but at the same time, if anyone would have quite literally inside knowledge of Apple’s plans, it would be Siri. Perhaps someone at Apple entered the information too early, or maybe they didn’t think anyone would find out this way.

Either way, we suggest that you still don’t get your hopes up just yet and wait for an official announcement. However, it is a week from now so that means that an invite should be popping up pretty soon.
