True wireless headphones are all the rage these days. While they’re small and portable, one of the problems with them is that because they go into your ear, they can sometimes get crusted with your earwax and other dirty things, which is really gross if you think about it. So how do you clean them?

A company by the name of Cardlax thinks that they might have the answer – a tiny washing machine. As you can see above, this is a very tiny washing machine that has been designed to clean earbuds. All you need to do is stick it in, turn it on, and it will help scrape off all the gunk that has been building up around the earbuds and in the grills.

It sounds like a novelty and we suppose to a certain extent it is. We’re not sure how effective it is at cleaning earbuds, and for all we know it could do an excellent job. While the video shows it working for devices like the AirPods, its creators claim that the washing machine will actually work with a large number of brands and models.

The washing machine components can be removed and washed and made ready for the next time you want to use it. The Cardlax EarBuds Washer is currently on Kickstarter where it is priced at $33 if you pledge today, so why not check it out?
