Tracking accessories have been around for a while. Tile is probably one of the biggest names in that space, but it seems that the arrival of Apple’s AirTags has piqued the public’s interest again. According to a recent survey conducted by SellCell, they found that more than 60% of Apple customers plan on buying the AirTag.

According to the survey, “Respondents were asked what they like best about AirTags, and these were the answers – in order of the number of votes received: “reliable as it leverages Apple’s robust Find My network” (42%), “great value for money” (19%), ‘strong privacy features’ (15%), “uses replaceable batteries that last about a year” (10%), “has plenty of accessories” (6%), “personalization with engraved text, emojis, numbers” (5.3%), “better overall design than rivals” (2.7%)”

Among those who were surveyed, it seems that price was a huge factor. More than 50% felt that the price of the AirTag was actually a good deal, and we have to agree. Given how Apple products aren’t always affordable, the price of the AirTags were actually surprisingly cheap all things considered.

We’re not sure if this renewed interest in tracking accessories could spill over to other brands, but for now, it seems that Apple’s AirTags are a success.
