What does this mean? This means that users can access these apps directly in their Zoom meeting. Instead of having to minimize or Alt-Tab out of your meeting to access these apps, you can do so within Zoom itself. This will make it easier for users to collaborate with each other and sync up on projects, files, or even play games.
According to Zoom, “With Zoom Apps, you can streamline workflows, collaborate with colleagues, and also bring elements of fun and wellness into your interactions with colleagues, friends, and family members. Zoom Apps gives you plenty of screen space to collaborate with the ability to expand and collapse the Apps side panel, open your app in a new window, and switch between multiple Zoom Apps at once.”
Right now Zoom says that there are over 50 apps that are supported by this and we imagine that in the future, more apps will probably be added. The apps can be found within Zoom itself so make sure you have the latest version and you should be good to go.
