A good majority of monitors and displays out there still use LCD panels. This is because LCD is cheaper and easier to produce compared to OLED, especially at larger sizes. However, if you prefer having an OLED monitor, then you might want to check out LG’s 32-inch 4K OLED UltraFine display, which is now available for order.

According to LG, this UltraFine display has been designed for creative professionals in mind. What they mean by this is that it will feature higher levels of color accuracy compared to more standard monitors. This is important for creative professionals like photographers or videographers who might need color accuracy when it comes to editing their work.

Some of the features of the monitor include support for HDR10, 99% coverage of Adobe’s RGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, 250 nits peak brightness, and a 1ms response time. It also features support for USB-C which means that hooking it up to a laptop like the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro shouldn’t be an issue.

There is also support for 90W pass-through charging so it will be able to charge your laptop at the same time. Other connectivity options include one HDMI port, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, three USB-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The monitor is priced at $3,999 and is available for order at B&H.
