Last week, Samsung confirmed that they would be hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event. The company did not mention when the event will be taking place, but in a new teaser trailer released by Samsung, it looks like we have our official date and that is for the 9th of February, 2022.

The teaser trailer doesn’t really tell us much except to show off a silhouette of a smartphone, which is presumably the upcoming Galaxy S22 series. This will be Samsung’s first flagship smartphone of the year and it could be rather exciting.

This is because if the rumors are to be believed, one of the changes Samsung will be making is that for the Galaxy S22 Ultra model, it could actually come with a slot for the S Pen. With rumors swirling that Samsung might have killed off the Note series of smartphones, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the closest that Note fans will probably get to seeing a new Note handset.

It is also expected that Samsung will be using its brand new Exynos 2200 chipset that will feature the use of AMD’s RDNA graphics with support for features like ray tracing. In any case, we should have more details in the coming weeks so check back with us then for the updates.
