A Gaming Powerhouse! Lenovo Launches Updated Legion 9i At CES 2024

Lenovo unveiled at CES 2024 its latest gaming ecosystem, featuring a comprehensive lineup of PCs, peripherals, software, and services aimed at delivering high-performance gaming experiences, among them, we have the Lenovo Legion 9i, a gaming laptop designed for users who demand top-notch performance in gaming and content creation.

The 9th Gen Lenovo Legion 9i (16″, 9) is equipped with the upgraded Lenovo LA3-P AI chip, offering Scenario Detection for dynamic power adjustments based on user activities, Smart FPS for optimizing CPU and GPU power based on on-screen FPS data, and Lighting Audio Sync for immersive RGB lighting synchronization with audio.

The AI chip also enables Legion Aurora Sync, syncing on-screen content with keyboard and environmental RGB, and Smart Control for quick switching between preset power profiles. The laptop provides granular control over AI-assisted settings through Lenovo Vantage.

Powered by the latest Intel Core Gen i9-14900HX CPU and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, the Legion 9i delivers up to 230W TDP, intelligently managed by the LA3-P AI chip. It features a 3.2K 16:10 165Hz VRR Mini-LED PureSight display, up to 64GB of 5600Mhz DDR5 Memory, up to 2TB of Gen4 PCIe storage, and a 99.99 Whr battery. The TrueStrike keyboard with per-key RGB lighting enhances the gaming experience.

For on-the-go gaming, the Legion 9i fits seamlessly into the Lenovo Legion 16” Functional Gaming Backpack GB700. At home, users can pair it with accessories like the Lenovo Legion Y34wz-30 Gaming Monitor, M600s Qi Wireless Gaming Mouse, and Legion H600 Wireless Gaming Headset.

Availability and Price

The Lenovo Legion 9i comes with a starting weight of 2.5kg (5.51 lbs.) and a forged carbon top cover, adding a unique touch to each laptop. It is expected to be available from January 2024 starting at $4,399. The new Lenovo gaming ecosystem aims to empower gamers to “Reach Your Impossible” by providing customizable and high-performance solutions.
