At CES Unveiled 2026, Mammotion introduced the LUBA 3 AWD series, its most advanced robotic lawn mower to date, and the new flagship of its perimeter-wire-free lineup. Designed for large, complex, and uneven properties, LUBA 3 AWD targets homeowners who have traditionally been underserved with vision-only compact robot mowers.
The defining upgrade is Mammotion’s enhanced Tri-Fusion Navigation system, combining full 360-degree LiDAR, RTK positioning, and dual-camera AI vision for centimeter-level accuracy. In practice, this places LUBA 3 AWD closer to professional-grade solutions than consumer robotic mowers that rely solely on RTK or camera navigation. Unlike many RTK-only competitors, the system is designed to remain stable under tree cover, changing light conditions, and uneven terrain.
All-wheel drive remains a core differentiator. With four independently driven wheels and adaptive suspension, LUBA 3 AWD can handle slopes up to 80 percent and clear obstacles such as roots and curbs that would stop most front-wheel or rear-wheel-drive designs. This is a clear advantage over popular models from Husqvarna or Segway, which prioritize flat to moderately sloped lawns.
Cutting performance also scales with the mower’s ambitions. Dual cutting discs, a wide cutting deck, and high-torque motors enable LUBA 3 AWD to cover large areas efficiently, with Mammotion claiming up to 2.5 acres per pass, depending on the model.
Compared to high-end competitors, LUBA 3 AWD stands out less for incremental refinement and more for raw capability. It is not designed to disappear quietly into small suburban yards, but rather to automate properties that previously required manual or ride-on mowing.
