Updated HTC Connect Brings AirPlay To Older HTC Handsets

One of the unique features of the HTC 10 isn’t so much that it sports a brand new design, or a 12MP UltraPixel camera, or the fact that it is IP53 certified, but rather the fact that it is the first Android phone ever to support Apple’s AirPlay wireless streaming protocol right out of the box, thus allowing to stream music and videos.

Reverse AirPlay Patented By Apple

One of the reasons why people buy Apple TV set-top boxes is because they allow them to AirPlay content from an iOS device to a big screen TV, apart from the fact that the set-top box offers a wide variety of content sources. Having an Apple TV hooked up to a TV is the easiest way to mirror the iOS device’s screen, and it wouldn’t be too bad if this […]

iOS 8 AirPlay To Apple TV Makes Streaming Content Easier

If you want to stream content from an iOS or OS X device, or mirror the display, via AirPlay to an Apple TV you must ensure that both the device and the Apple TV are on the same network. There’s no way around this for now but iOS 8 is going to change things. Apple didn’t talk about this feature on stage at WWDC 2014 but a perusal of the […]

Redbox Instant On iPhone Now Supports AirPlay Streaming

Redbox Instant was launched by Redbox earlier this year with Verizon, where it is being touted to be a competitor to another video streaming solution from Netflix. Good to know that Redbox has already introduced a new update for […]

Bowers and Wilkins introduces the A5 and A7 AirPlay speakers

With the introduction of the new Lightning connector for iOS devices, Apple pretty much rendered a ton of iOS accessories useless. Either way if you’re looking to pick up some iOS compatible speakers, you might be interested […]

AirPlay Direct rumored for September announcement
