Samsung confirmed a couple of months ago that it’s going to release a refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7 in the near future. The company said that it will be released in a handful of markets but hasn’t specified those markets yet. It also hasn’t provided a confirmed release date. According to a new report, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is going to be released later this month.
It has been confirmed by Samsung that it’s going to release a refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7 in select markets this year. We don’t know what it’s going to end up calling the refurbished version but the rumor mill is calling it the Galaxy Note 7R at this point in time. Samsung would certainly like to forget about the Galaxy Note 7. The handset could have been the best device it ever put out but it ended up costing the company billions of dollars due to battery defects that just kept blowing up the device.
