Samsung’s Latest Gear VR Has Started Shipping Out Today
Earlier this month, Samsung took the wraps off the latest version of the Oculus Rift. While the exterior (save for its coat of paint) looks more or less similar to its predecessor, Samsung and Oculus have made some changes under the hood such as giving it a wider FOV and also added a USB-C and micro USB adapter so that it will fit newer phones.

New Gear VR Now Available For Pre-Order From Amazon
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 earlier this month. The handset features a USB Type-C port and because of that the company has had to launch a new Gear VR headset as well. The new Gear VR comes with minor improvements as well as a new coat of paint. It’s now available for pre-order from Amazon and will be released on August 19th alongside the Galaxy Note 7.
