Those who want to buy the game outright and don’t really want to subscribe to those services can now purchase the Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition that has been announced by EA today. The Ultimate Edition not only brings a copy of the […]
Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 can now be played for free as long as you’re a paying subscriber of EA and Origin Access. Titanfall 2 has now been added to the vault which means subscribers on both the Xbox One […]
Two of EA’s most popular games will be available for free for those who subscribe to its EA Access and Origin Access services. Respawn Entertainment today confirmed when the next free DLC pack for Titanfall 2 is going to be released. Those who own the game will have to wait until next month to get their hands on the new DLC called Monarch’s Reign. A trailer has been released today to highlight some of the content that’s included in this DLC pack.
If you’ve been meaning to try out the multiplayer component in Titanfall 2 then this is your lucky day. Respawn Entertainment is offering a free Titanfall 2 multiplayer weekend across all platforms that the game is available for. Throughout the entire weekend, players can access the multiplayer component for free and put it through its paces on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
Titanfall 2 has been out for a while which means that gamers have probably gone through most, if not all of the content available for the game. Sure, there is multiplayer mode that helps keep things interesting, but if you’re looking for new items, features, and gameplay, then you might be interested to learn that the next DLC “Colony Reborn” is set for a release in the coming days.
While having good core gameplay is obviously important to the success of a game, developers also need to think long-term and how to keep players interested. This has resulted in updates, expansions, and DLCs in which we see new game modes, skins, quests, weapons, items, and so on being added to the game to extend its playability.
Titanfall 2 developer Respawn Entertainment previously confirmed that it’s going to release free DLCs for this game. It has now confirmed more details about the first free Titanfall 2 DLC. Titled “Angel City’s Most Wanted,” the DLC is going to bring a map that’s a favorite among players as well as an in-game store. Respawn Entertainment has also confirmed when the DLC is going to be released.
When Respawn Entertainment was formed and Titanfall was first announced, many were excited because the company’s co-founders were from Infinite Ward who helped create and develop the Call of Duty franchise. Safe to say many were looking forward to see how their wealth of experience would apply to the new franchise under EA’s banner.
Titanfall 2 is the latest installment in the Titanfall franchise from Respawn and EA. It is also bringing to the table several changes, such as a single-player story mode, and recently it was also announced that the game would be doing away with season passes, meaning that all future maps and modes for the game will be released for free.
One of the ways developers and publishers like to make money these days is by selling DLCs separately from the game. For example some developers choose to release new maps or new content at a later date and will charge gamers for it, as opposed to releasing it as part of a patch that will be free, which is kind of what developers used to do back in the day.
Sometimes there are perks if you buy games from the same developer/publisher, something that the folks at EA have recently demonstrated by announcing what seems to be an exclusive skin in Titanfall 2 that will be available to gamers who also own a copy of Battlefield 1. Both games are published by EA.
If you are thinking about getting a console, there are at least 3 systems that have yet to be launched: the Nintendo Switch, the Xbox Scorpio, and the PS4 Pro, although the PS4 Pro will be released first later this November. Now if you consider yourself more of a PlayStation gamer, you’ll be interested to learn that the folks at Respawn have confirmed the Titanfall 2 will look better and […]
Titanfall was one of the biggest games to come out in 2014 but it was missing one major component. The game didn’t have a proper single player campaign and that was something that most players sorely missed. Respawn Entertainment listened and made amends with Titanfall 2 which does feature a proper single player campaign. Today, it has released the Titanfall 2 single player trailer to provide more insight into the […]
