After checking out the Electrolux Re-mix concept, chances are you’ll never see batter in the same light ever again. It will feature physical patterns that are produced via the interaction of sound waves within a medium, mixing food using vibrations emitted by different sound frequencies. In short, you can mix a batter of pancakes with hip hop tunes from Eminem or hard rock from Metallica, depending on your audible poison of choice. All you need to do is plug your MP3 player to the Re-mix and see it go based on the tunes being played. Should this ever be released, we are guessing that recipe books will never be the same again in their descriptions. Imagine this, “Now plug in your iPod and play mix the flour to the tunes of Sweet Child o’ Mine for the next five minutes”.
