Apple iTunes Concert Ticket+ Patent

Getting promotional items from QR barcodes or SMS messages isn’t a new concept, but Apple is looking to take it one step further with its iTunes Concert Ticket+ patent. To make your life easier, Maps, venue information and all the other mumbo jumbo will be included in the app. If such a patent were to be turned into a real product, would Apple begin sell all kinds of tickets, and take a slice of profit from each sale?
