AutoCAD Software For Mac Is Back
AutoCAD fans who use a Mac should be overjoyed to hear that the software is now available for Mac users once again, after leaving the Mac platform a good 18 years ago and becoming a PC exclusive. If you’re already using AutoCAD on Windows, the transition should be pretty painless as the user interface is almost identical and AutoCAD’s .dwg files from Windows are fully supported on the Mac version. Added benefits in the Mac version include support for Cover Flow for browsing designs, multi-touch, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad support. Students and educators are able to download their copy for free, while other folks will be able to enjoy a free 30-day trial, after which you’ll need to shell out a juicy $3975 to continue using it.
