Haleron H97 Windows 7 Tablet Looks Just Like An iPad, Supports Chromium OS

We’ve seen plenty of Android-powered tablets recently and even some that look very much like Apple’s popular iPad. Now if Android or iOS isn’t what you’re looking for, the Haleron H97 might do the trick as it’s powered by Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, despite looking very much like the iPad. Technical specifications aren’t too bad and it’s also capable of running Linux, Google’s Android and Chromium OS, so if you like to tinker around with software, this does seem to offer some options. It’s expected to start shipping to distributors in December. Specifications of the Haleron H97 include:

  • 2GHz Intel Atom Z550 processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 pixel resolution display
  • Intel graphics
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • 3G (optional)
  • VGA, DVI and HDMI outputs
  • 4 USB 2.0 ports
  • 4,500mAh battery
