We’ve been hearing whispers about it for a while, and now the latest version of Skype for the iPhone offers users the luxury of making Skype to Skype video calls from their iPhone via Wi-Fi or 3G. They will also be able to communicate with desktop users on both OS X and Windows, which is definitely welcome news. Of course, if you’re not using the iPhone 4, you won’t be able to send video back, but hopefully the iPad 2 will include the front-facing camera that we’re looking forward to, and possibly usher in a native Skype app for the iPad too. Let us know what you think of the video chat feature via the comments section.
