Cisco Linksys, the company that brought us the Flip video camera all those years ago for those who want a no-brainer method of recording your favorite moments in digital video, has passed another Digital Video Recorder known as the M3260 through the FCC. While scarce information was available in the FCC documents, we do know that the device will most probably be part of Cisco Linksys’ hugely popular range of Flip camcorders that have done pretty well in the past. Test reports do point towards 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity capability for the M3260, which will definitely make file transfer a cinch in your home instead of having to mess with USB connectivity, just make sure there is enough battery life left in your M3260 before you let it transfer files. Could we also see some sort of email and Facebook integration with the Wi-Fi capability? Apart from that, there will also be an HDMI connection that will most likely be meant for your HDTV working extra hard, displaying all your favorite family videos. We still await news on its pricing or availability, and will surely inform you down the road when that happens.
