When it comes to gaming on the computer, the PC beats the Mac hands down in terms of choices, so it is no surprise to see that gaming peripherals for the PC far outnumber those for the Mac platform, but that does not mean companies like Razer have left Mac gamers high and dry. No sir, they have instead recently announce standard Mac key layout in their highly-popular Razer BlackWidow, Razer BlackWidow Ultimate, and Razer Anansi keyboards.

This piece of news should be a sweet surprise, with Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, President, Razer USA, singing praises. “For Mac gamers, your supreme gaming reign begins now with the Razer BlackWidow and the Razer Anansi. Whether you’re after exceptional tactile feedback from your fast key presses, or dedicated keys for more MMO skills at your fingertips, these gaming keyboards for Mac deliver.  As promised, we’ve been hard at work rolling out Mac support on all our products, whether with dedicated drivers or hardware changes, offering the same competitive edge for Mac gamers as their PC brethren.”

The trio of gaming keyboards will boast the standard Mac layout with iconic Command and Option keys, in addition to a row of easily accessible media keys. Mac-integrated software has also been thrown into the mix to deliver additional customization capability. [Press Release]
