Samsung Hercules

The Samsung Hercules was first spotted last week at the Samsung Mobile concert in Toronto, and now the folks over at TmoNews have managed to get their hands on even more photographs of the device. And besides a clearer look at the phone, some new information was discovered as well. The Hercules is going to be T-Mobile’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S 2.

Why? Well, the back plate of the phone clearly states “T-Mobile”, along with the Galaxy S 2 badge on the bottom as well. With the Galaxy S 2 phones starting to show up on this side of the world under different names, I guess it won’t be too long before they are officially announced by the carriers and are put on sale as well.

The Galaxy S 2/Hercules on T-Mobile has also been rumored to be T-Mobile’s first HSPA+ 42Mbps device – so keep an eye out for it if you’re looking for a fast phone. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted on any new information.
