ViewSonic V3D245 to be launched soon

If you attended CES 2011 or have been following the coverage earlier this year, you probably would have come across ViewSonic’s V3D245 monitor which the company debuted at the event. It looks like a pretty sweet monitor and if you have been meaning to check it out or get your hands on the display, appears that the release of the ViewSonic V3D245 is just around the corner.

The 23.6-inch monitor features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, a HDMI 1.4 port, and 2W SRS Premium Sound speakers, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 300 nits of brightness, the ViewSonic V3D245 is expected to be released “mid-late August”. Take note that despite the active 3D shutter glasses that come together with the 3D monitor, you are still required to have an NVidia GeForce graphics card for that 3D experience.

Backed by a three year warranty the ViewSonic V3D245 is expected to retail for around $499.
