So while we may have gotten official word that the Nokia Belle update is expected to roll out in February, unfortunately it was not specified as to when exactly in February will Symbian users be receiving the update. Well that could have changed thanks to Nokia’s Vietnamese website who might have accidentally let the cat out of the bag ahead of schedule, thus revealing that the update will begin rolling out to Symbian Anna users come 8th of February. The website has since been pulled (cached version here for those who might be interested).

For those unfamiliar with the update, it will not be an OTA update due to its large file size and thus users will need to update their Symbian Anna devices through the Nokia Suite program on their computers. The update will bring about six homescreens, enhanced widgets, a new pull-down notification bar that is reminiscent of Android (and recently iOS 5) among other things. The devices expected to be eligible for the Nokia Belle update includes the Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia E6, Nokia X7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia C7, Nokia 500 and Nokia Oro, with the Nokia N8, C7 and C6-01 reportedly shipping with the update already pre-installed.
