As the rumored 7th of March launch date of the iPad 3 approaches, naturally we are starting to see an increase in alleged leaks and rumors, so if you were to add another iPad 3 rumor to your list, this would be it. The photos you are looking at above were obtained by NextMedia/Apple Daily who claims to have gotten it through special channels, and they basically give us an overview of the alleged iPad 3’s back panel, along with comparison shots between the iPad, iPad 2 and iPad 3.

According to earlier rumors and speculation, the iPad 3 is said to sport a new and improved camera. This is sort of a given considering that the iPad 2’s camera felt kind of disappointing. Well according to the analysis of the photo above, the alleged iPad 3’s back panel shows a camera lens cover that’s slightly larger compared to that of the iPad 2, although to be honest it could simply be a matter of perspective and how the photo was taken.

The back panel allows shows the slightest of redesigns, sporting a slightly more gradual taper with the camera resting on the taper itself, although once again it could simply be a trick of the light. Once again all of these alleged leaks and rumors should be taken with vast quantities of salt, but with the 7th of March rumored date approaching, we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for more information!
