DropboxIf you’ve got an Android device and you’re running low on space for your Dropbox account – or you just feel like giving yourself a lot of extra storage for free, you’re in luck. The folks over at XDA-developers have released a Dropbox APK that gives users and extra 23GB of space for 2 years – for free. While they didn’t explain what they did, we assume they extracted the Dropbox APK from the HTC One X ROM, and modified it to work on any other Android device.

In case you don’t remember, when the HTC One X was announced, HTC also mentioned that the phone will come with a free Dropbox subscription of 25GB for two years. You’ll need to uninstall Dropbox on your device, download the unofficial version, login, wait for the confirmation email, and you’re good to go (you’re free to uninstall the unofficial Dropbox APK if you wish). Head here for links to the file and instructions. Do let us know if it works for you.
